Valley Yarns There Will be Picnics Again features our new 5/2 Valley Cotton
Stonewash yarn in a 4-shaft texture weave. It is easy threading, weaving, and
finishing. Roll it up and put it in your picnic basket! Weave some placemats,
too, if you’d like. There will be picnics again!
Equipment: 4-shaft loom with minimum 18” weaving width; 1 boat shuttle and 1 bobbin;
2½ yards cotton seam binding; a temple is always useful, but optional

Warp Length: 4 yards of 361 ends (includes 2 floating selvedges) for 1 runner and 2
placemats. If you think you might weave four placemats along with the runner,
add one more yard to the warp and increase yarn and cotton binding yardage
accordingly.
Sett: 24 epi (2/dent in a 12-dent reed), 24 ppi
