These Glentrekker Hats from Jen Hagan Design were created to swatch for the Glentrekker Cardigan. Those who
purchase the cardigan pattern will receive this hat pattern for free. It’s a
fun way to get gauge! The Slouch Hat is knit from the bottom up in the round
and sports a diamond cable along one side. The Toque is riddled with cables,
like the Glentrekker Cardigan. It’s worked as a flat swatch and then is seamed. The hat is finished with an applied cord and a crown worked in the round. Both are fun
projects, whether you use them as swatches or not! The cable patterns are
charted and written out.
